Brief biography
Prof. Abdelhak Senadjki is a Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Business and Finance, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Economics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), completed in 2013, along with a Master of Economic Management from USM and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Algiers. His research interests include Energy Economics, Development Economics, Housing Economics, Health Economics, Employee Creativity and Innovation, Organisational Culture, and Social Protection and Elderly Studies. He has held several academic leadership positions and currently serves as Deputy Dean of Research & Development and Postgraduate Programmes at UTAR. Prof. Senadjki has published extensively in international refereed, Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals and serves as a reviewer and article editor for several international journals. His academic contributions have earned him multiple national and international awards, including Emerald Literati Awards, Top Reviewer Awards, Best Paper Awards, and Best Presenter Awards. He is also a certified Train-the-Trainer (TTT) and accredited trainer, reflecting his commitment to teaching, research, and academic mentoring.
